I love turning every inch of cabinetry into smart, accessible storage — and this cabinet is a triple win! One clever design tackled height, depth, and reachability all at once. Here’s how:
1. Double Pullouts Under the Divider Shelf
Right below the vertical dividers, two pull-out shelves were snuck in to store containers and lids. These gliding shelves make it easy to access even the farthest items — if you can grab the front to pull it out, you can reach what’s in the back! These pullouts had 2.5-inch-high sides making it easy to reach what’s on them.
2. Storage Above the Oven – Reimagined
That tall, hard-to-reach cabinet above the ovens was transformed into prime storage real estate. The vertical slots neatly hold cutting boards, baking sheets, and serving trays upright, so you can simply grab the bottom edge and slide one out. No more stacking or digging!
3. Go Horizontal to Maximize Space
By organizing trays and bakeware in a landscape (horizontal) position, the full depth of the cabinet was used efficiently. This layout also freed up extra space above the divider shelf — perfect for storing larger items like cake domes or oversized platters.
This design is a perfect example of how custom pull-outs, a custom divider shelf, and thoughtful configuration can completely change the way your kitchen works for you.
Love what you see? I’d be happy to help transform your kitchen storage too — just reach out!
